i heard this odd noise from the other room for ten minutes or so .. when i eventually went to investigate, this is what i found.
The plane flies through a cloud bank, then lands with a startling clunk. A longer video, but worth your while, i hope, especially flying through the cloud bank, which was a lot of fun.

lately i've been using firefox 2.0 beta 1 for browsing - with protopage as my default home page - thunderbird/gmail for email and feedreading, sunbird/google calendar for organizing my schedule, GAIM for instant messaging, azureus for bit torrent, yamipod for interfacing with the iPod, the great new last.fm player for finding new music on last.fm .. and yahoo! widget engine for the clock, soccer ball, werewolf monitor, volume and window control and, of course, the yahoo! notepad.
